We are looking for a highly motivated dog walker and pet welfare staff member to join our friendly Dog Crew family.


This is a Casual position, you will be working with the best in the industry learning the ropes on how to handle dogs in our care and exercising dogs using our dog walking service.


  • Dog walking in Greystanes and surrounding areas
  • Spend your day loving, patting, walking, praising and caring for dogs.
  • Build strong relationships with our dogs and their owners.
  • Work independently and as part of a small team.

A typical day/week:

  • Providing weekly dog walks on Monday, Wednesday and Friday's. This includes driving to different locations between 8am3pm. Walking one dog at a time to exercise an hour each.
  • Ensuring walks are fun and interesting whilst providing safe handling and care of the dogs at all times.
  • Flexible hours for Pet Welfare shifts.
  • Handling, walking, feeding and maintaining a clean environment for dogs at our Greystanes facility.
  • You will be caring, interacting, exercising and socialising with groups of no more than 12 dogs at a time at our facility on other days if available.
  • You will be taking photos and videos for dog training/boarding/walking progress with each dog so we can send it to the owners.
  • Client communications around pick up and drop off for Doggy Day care and Boarding services.
What you need to join us as a Dog Walker & Pet welfare staff member?

  • Preferred experience in a similar role or experience dealing, handling and caring for dogs.
  • Must have a valid drivers licence and own transport.
  • You enjoy fitness and have the mental and physical stamina and resilience to deal with the challenge of balancing all responsibilities of this role.
  • Can work autonomously and is trusted to carry out services unsupervised by yourself with the dogs.
  • You're an excellent time manager and adaptable to change.
  • You're a fast learner, selfstarter, responsible, reliable, have initiative and flexibility.
  • A friendly and positive individual, with a penchant for building solid and trustworthy relationships.
  • Are adaptable, able to act out of confidence and make quick decisions.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, a high level of customer service and communication when dealing with clients and staff.
  • You can commit to the role for a minimum of 612 months or longer.
  • Able to provide us with a current National police check and Working With Children Check before employment.
