About the role
Permanent full time opportunity to provide and coordinate high level effective and confidential support services to the Orthopaedics Department.

Prepare, update & distribute meeting agendas to appropriate committee members, take accurate minutes of meetings and disseminate to committee members.

About you

  • Provide efficient, effective and confidential administrative support to members of the Orthopaedic and Surgical & Critical Care Management team incorporating established priorities, task methodology and work practices to achieve results in line with the corporate goals of the programs
  • Oversee and coordinate the work activities and resources of subordinate administrative staff, taking into account the operational work of the area and factors such as work priorities, the complexity of the work and the number of subordinate staff in the Programs.
  • High level communication and interpersonal skills to enable effective interaction to build and maintain an effective working relationship and networks with the stakeholders including staff members and members of the public.
  • Collaborate with the Practice Manager of the Outpatients Department to monitor trends including but not limited to waitlists and referral categorisation times, contributing to the development and implementation of change and project management, strategies and activities as required.
  • Facilitate the preparation of quality presentations, abstracts and other relevant documentation for conferences, workshops or tutorials for the Orthopaedic Program.
