About the RoleOur Graduate Midwifery and Nursing Program is progressive, responsive and innovative. We use the latest evidence to develop our program study days together with regular feedback from our graduates.
We support and facilitate the development of a well prepared, high quality, safe midwifery and nursing workforce committed to improving health outcomes.
We have 2 pathways for Midwifery graduates in 2025 including:
B lended Nursing / Midwifery Stream: 18 months total (12 months midwifery and 6 months nursing)
P ure Midwifery Stream: 12 months in midwifery
Our Learning and Teaching team and clinical staff provide a supportive environment that encourages the development of clinical skills, reflective practice and a sense of professional identity and accountability.

2 x Midwifery Placement Appraisals (also known as "Clinical Assessment Tools", "AMSAT", or "summative placement feedback").
