Accounts Receivable Officer (on-site)

We are searching for a dynamic and enthusiastic credit offer to join our finance and operations team.

Duties and responsibilities relating to financial accounting and credit management

  • Daily bank reconciliations, including:reconciliation of cash receipts from customers
  • Reconciliation of payments to vendors and service providers
  • Updating daily receivables ageing summary analyses on a daily basis, implementing the action plan to minimise overdue receivables and collect receivables by due date
  • Monthly account statement review and reconciliations with key accounts and formal documentation of the account reconciliation process
  • Contributing to monthend process by:Balance sheet account reconciliations including deferred revenue, prepaid expenses, fixed assets.
  • Credit card reconciliationsIncluding the reconciliation of business unit employee expenses to credit card statements

Duties and responsibilities relating to order processing and client care

  • Processing of orders
  • Liaision with logistics, delivery, sales teams, management and customers
  • Taking ownership of the credit card processing system, reconciling the cash in transit account and troubleshooting payment processing issues on a timely basis

Who will be successful in this role?

  • A selfstarter with a cando approach and a positive attitude
  • Ability and willingness to work in a dynamic, agile, result oriented, friendly environment
  • Experience in credit management (including AR officer, customer/client care, order processing or debt collection) is an essential requirement.
  • Financial accounting (or bookkeeping) experience will be a significant advantage
