ABOUT THE ROLE


As a Fleet Administrator you will provide backup support for the Fleet Coordinator and work closely with the Fleet Program Manager to bring important projects to fruition on time and to plan.


The primary objectives of the role include processing orders and quotes as well as working with both the business and supply chain to ensure smooth running of this process.

Providing Fleet administration and clerical services to ensure effective, efficient, and accurate fleet information is prepared and provided to and on behalf of the Fleet Delivery and Provisioning Lead.


Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring order information received from business / fleet managers are complete and reference latest Downer specifications.
  • Ensuring vehicle requests have appropriate authorisation and approval.
  • Quoting vehicles for orders, tenders, and pricing exercises with supply chain in a timely manner.
  • Communicating proposed financials to business for appropriate authorisation.

ABOUT YOU

  • Experience in a similar Administrative role in a blue collar environment, with any prior Fleet exposure being highly advantageous.
  • An understanding of Light Motor Vehicle's, Heavy Vehicles and / or plant and equipment (Advantageous).
  • Excellent customer service skills and an approachable demeanour.
  • High level administrative and data entry skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgement in a fastpaced workplace.
  • Welldeveloped written and verbal communication skills to interact with people from diverse social and cultural backgrounds.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Computer literacy with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, etc.) and the ability to learn internal software systems.
