About your role


The GMHBA Hub Geelong is opening in August, created for locals with the same level of care and expertise that we've delivered to our members for 90 years.

The GMHBA Hub Geelong offers Eye Care, Physiotherapy, Dental, Medical and Health Insurance under one roof at 60 Moorabool Street.

The GMHBA Hub will offer members, patients and customers access to modern facilities and quality care, supporting the growing demand for health services in Geelong.


Within your role as Location Manager, you'll providing day-to-day operational leadership of the health Hub team through delivering high-quality clinical care and exceptional customer and retail experiences.

You'll also provide specialist technical advice and support, through individual coaching and support for team members.

About you

  • Demonstrated experience in a busy customer service and teambased environment
  • Strong focus on delivering excellent service and quality outcomes for customers
  • Welldeveloped communication skills (written and spoken)
  • The ability to build positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Proactive, selfmotivated and works on own initiative
  • Basic computer literacy including competent use of Microsoft Office and customer databases
  • A proven ability to prioritise your workload with a strong attention to detail
  • Committed to continuous improvement
Highly desirable

  • Knowledge of Practice Management systems, financial processes and transactions and practice accreditation requirements within the healthcare setting
  • Minimum 5 years experience managing a headcount of 30+ employees
  • Management experience in a clinical setting
  • Experience in coaching and development of team members
