Today we employ over 1,800 exceptional individuals, with roughly 35% based in Regional Australia, and together we service over 1.5 million tonnes of temperature-controlled freight every year across the country.

The Role:

Lindsay Fresh Logistics is currently seeking a TUG driver with a HC or MC licence to join the team based at Brisbane Markets, Rocklea.

This role is a full-time position working Tuesday – Saturday. Set start times, between 3am and 6am.

Primary duties of the role include:

  • Driving the Tug Truck / Yard shunt taking trailers on and off dock
  • Hooking and unhooking trailers
  • Backing double and single trailers onto docks and in the yard
  • Coordinating drivers within the yard
  • Communicating effectively via 2-way radio
  • Engaging in accurate and time sensitive moving of freight
  • Re-fuelling tug vehicles.
  • Communicating with floor supervisors to know what trailers they need on and off dock

The candidates we are looking for will have;

  • A current HC or MC drivers licence and experience in this licence class
  • TUG Driving Experience
  • Swing Lift Experience (not essential but a willingness to learn)
  • MSIC card (preferred)
  • Basic Fatigue Management accreditation (preferred)
  • A commitment to workplace health and safety (essential)

To be successful for this role applicants must;

  • Pass a Commercial Drivers Health Assessment including drug and alcohol test
  • Provide a current traffic print out
