Experienced Disability Support Worker

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience with participants of various backgrounds, including drug use is required.
  • Experience responding to emotionally dysregulated behaviour.
  • Experienced and comfortable support verbal aggression

Must be Available:

Mondays 8:00am to 10:00 am

Thursdays 11:00am to 1:00 pm

Fridays 10:30am to 12:30 pm

  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
  • Working With Childrens Check
  • Drivers License

MAIN DUTIES:

  • Providing assistance and support to improve daily living
  • Assist with daily domestic tasks
  • Assist with meal preparation
  • Providing support to develop independence skills
  • Assisting with accessing community for appointments, outings and leisure
  • Assisting to build capacity with transportation, personal care and social interactions
  • Helping participants to achieve their goals
  • Following procedures including the collation of data and report writing.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records of participant interactions and services provided.
