We offer a range of services including Harm Reduction and Primary Health Services as well as a range of treatment types (including residential treatment centres, community-based support programs, counselling, and withdrawal management services).

About this role

We are seeking a values-driven Case Worker who will provide co-ordinated effective and efficient case management to withdrawal and residential rehabilitation programs through ensuring needs assessment, case management, client support, education, group facilitation and referral are provided in accordance with TSA guidelines, ensuring a comprehensive participant led recovery based service is provided to assist clients to achieve wellness and autonomy

You will successfully

  • Provide efficient day to day case management and service delivery through education, interventions, group work, assessment, referral and case work within a recovery orientated and person led service environment.
  • Demonstrate commitment to an environment that values continuous improvement and innovation in the delivery of high quality services
  • Acquire and maintain a good working knowledge of referral and support options for participants.
  • Work collaboratively and professionally with other services.

You will have

  • Minimum of Diploma level qualification in a relevant discipline
  • Professional development required to maintain skills for the role
  • Sound knowledge of AOD/Gambling, Community Services and Health Sectors;
  • Demonstrated experience and ability to work with those impacted by substance abuse, gambling and mental health conditions;
  • Demonstrated experience in effective case and project management;
  • Experience working with people from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander background
  • Experience working with people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds and religions.
  • Experience working in collaboration with other organisations
  • Willingness and ability to work shifts across the week – Monday to Sunday
  • A valid Blue Card is required
  • Current Driver's licence

This is a permanent, full-time position located in Mt. Isa, QLD. Salary and conditions are in accordance with the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Level 4.4 Award.
