About the position

Located at any of our Head Office sites, this full-time permanent Compliance Manager - Central role reports to the Senior Compliance Manager. Responsibilities include enhancing the compliance framework, conducting tests, reviews, and monitoring of compliance obligations within the division, assessing regulatory changes, and supporting their implementation. Additionally, you will identify control enhancements, prepare regulatory responses, facilitate additional training, and provide operational and regulatory compliance advice to meet obligations.

Researching legislative and regulatory changes, collaborating with stakeholders, and keeping senior management updated on regulatory changes affecting the division are key aspects of the role.

About you

To excel in this role, you should:

  • Have demonstrated Compliance experience in Banking & Financial Services (Line 1 or 2)
  • Possess expertise in analyzing and interpreting financial services legislation
  • Understand industry legislation and regulatory requirements
  • Have experience in monitoring or assurance
  • Demonstrate technical skills in compliance and risk activities
  • Build strong internal and external relationships to enhance risk and compliance knowledge
  • Have exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Possess advanced influencing and communication skills to convey complex issues to staff at all levels
We offer flexible work arrangements with a hybrid model requiring a minimum of x2 days in a local Head Office per week

This role, based at any of our head office locations, is full-time and permanent.
