Role Description/Criteria


Working within the Siena College Music Department, the Cello Teacher will be part of a team of instrumental specialists, with a key objective of expanding cello enrolments and contributing to the overall growth of the string program.

The successful applicant will be required to demonstrate their ability to:

  • Teach beginner and intermediate Cello students through to VCE Music
  • Develop students' musical understanding through the study of repertoire
  • Support the objectives of the College's ensemble program
  • Maintain effective communication and administrative practic

VIT Teacher Registration or a Working with Children Check and National Police check are required before commencing the position.
