Fuse Recruitment is seeking a Chemical Production Operator for our client is a global sustainability leader offering water, hygiene and infection prevention solutions and services that protect people and the resources vital to life. With a team comprising 1,200 scientists, engineers, and technical specialists, we pioneer best-in-class solutions meticulously crafted for minimal human and environmental impact.
The chemical production operator will be working rotating shifts days and afternoons, with some over time possible. The right candidate will have experience in chemical or food production environments.

What's on offer:


• Casual position with the potential for permanent placement for the right candidate

• Monday to Friday – potential OT Offered No weekend work

• Rotating roster between days and afternoon shift 06:00am or 11:00am starts.

What will I be doing:


• Execute liquid batch manufacturing processes according to specified procedures and production schedules

• Operate and monitor process equipment with precision and efficiency, troubleshooting any issues that may arise during production to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.

• Utilize forklift equipment to safely and accurately fill 20-ton trucks with chemicals

• Utilize computer systems for data entry, process monitoring, and documentation

• Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety by adhering to procedures for the storage, handling, and transport of dangerous goods

• Provide immediate assistance as a certified First Aid Certificate holder in the event of workplace injuries or emergencies

What do I need?


• Hold a current forklift license with at least 2 years of experience.

• Experience filling 20 tonne trucks with chemicals

• Liquid batch manufacturing experience

• Knowledge of Storage, Handling, and Transport of Dangerous Goods.

• Clear and legible handwriting, with experience completing batch paperwork

• Understanding of Dangerous Goods laws and regulations.
