ABOUT THE ROLE


We have an exciting opportunity for a value aligned individual to join our team in the position of Lettings Manager on a Permanent Full-Time basis.


Key responsibilities in this role include:

  • Ensuring that Hume deliver on our contractual and regulatory obligations linked to the management of void properties, affordable housing and social housing allocations and transfers.
  • Overseeing the acquisition and lease management of Leasehold properties, under the Community Housing Leasehold Policy.
  • Utilising data and reporting to measure and communicate results with a timely and consistent regularity to inform service improvement, impact measurement and growth opportunities.
  • Role modelling customer centric behaviour, leading by example and creating a sense of purpose and team spirit.
  • Overseeing the development and implementation of letting strategies for complexes, local areas, hard to let and cohort specific properties.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN YOU
To be successful in this position you will have:

  • Experience in managing, leading, developing, and motivating a team with a proven track record in meeting agreed team KPIs and outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer centric mindset.
  • Knowledge and experience in affordable and social housing programs
  • Knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act, leasehold programs, and real estate management
  • Understanding of and capacity to relate to people from a diverse range of social and cultural background, including those with complex needs.
  • Current NSW driver's licence and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle
