Laboratory Technician

Providence Christian College is a Co-educational, non-denominational K-12 College with around 880 students located in Southern River, WA.

We are currently seeking expressions of interest for the following position:

Part-time - Laboratory Technician (0.19 FTE - 1 day) - Secondary Science commencing immediately or at a later date by negotiation
Science laboratory staff work in partnership with Science teaching staff to provide effective learning outcomes for students of Science

Science laboratory staff require effective communication skills and the capacity to take on responsibility, work independently and should possess good organisational skills.

Under the direction of the Head of Science, the Laboratory Technician provides assistance to Middle School Science and Senior School Biology, Human Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Integrated Science classes

Qualifications:

Minimum:
Certificate III in Laboratory Techniques or equivalent
Sound Literacy and Numeracy skills
Current Working With Children Card.
Current Police Clearance
