NSW Registry of Births, Deaths & Marriages was established in 1856 to maintain registers necessary for the purposes of recording Births, Deaths and Marriages in the state.

We meet the varied and valid needs of our customers by providing a range of certificates, products and information services that help establish a range of legal entitlements and is the newest agency within the Department of Customer service.


The opportunity and the role:


As the Sales and Event Co-ordinator you will provide support for the delivery of marketing and sales campaigns and communication programs.

You will also perform administrative tasks including reporting, procurement processes, finance and invoicing, to support the marketing and sales campaign team, and the delivery of marketing sales and communications programs and initiatives.


This role will work closely to support the wedding services team and will be active in the planning and delivery of wedding events at a range of different venues.


Your key accountabilities include:

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the overarching marketing sales and communications strategies, plans and campaigns (including research, advertising, social media, digital marketing etc) to support optimal service delivery
  • Event planning and delivery to ensure seamless event delivery across The Registry's wedding services offering, wedding expos and other industry events.
  • Provide assistance in developing program budgets, timelines, reports and updates, and campaign result reports, to help monitor, promote and optimise programs and outcomes
  • Contribute and participate in project delivery activities including launches, workshops, and presentations to ensure agreed outcomes are achieved
  • Establish working relationships with vendors, and internal and external stakeholders, including media and creative agencies, to support and provide updates campaign and program delivery
  • Work closely with the Divisions and Branch's teams in coordinating a communications approach, to ensure consistency and accuracy

Salary Clerk Grade 5/6, with the base salary for this role starting at $89,707 base plus superannuation
