About Us

Infrastructure People have partnered with the federal government GBE, National Intermodal, committed to advancing the Australia's logistics capabilities through the creation of a state-of-the-art intermodal precincts, that will drive national productivity, enhance supply chain resilience, and champion environmental sustainability.

About the role

The program you will be responsible for delivering against involves the development of an integrated intermodal precinct, which includes a mix of rail infrastructure, roads, warehouse, retail and ancillary development works.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Actively collaborating across the organisation to ensure that the required project outcomes are achieved
  • Leading teams across a range of disciplines, and directly managing teams that develop major infrastructure projects
  • Contributing to project business cases, leading and managing the implementation of project plans including the scheduling of activities, and managing deliverables within an approved budget
  • Ensuring business strategies and plans are translated into meaningful performance targets at a project level while providing assurance and regular reporting to senior management
  • Setting, reviewing and assist in managing detailed project budgets, forecast cash flows, cost control, managing variations, mitigation strategies, and accurate and timely reporting
  • Leading and overseeing processes to monitor compliance with legislation, policy, governance and implementing robust due diligence processes, risk management strategies, and promoting the highest standards of probity.

About You

In order to be considered for this role, candidates should possess the following:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Engineering or related discipline, or relevant industry experience along with formal Program / Project Management qualifications.
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience of the planning, procurement and delivery of multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.
  • Highly experienced in contract administration, gained on construction, engineering, or related projects.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience of project teams, including effective management of subconsultants and contractors.
  • Skilled in qualitative and quantitative risk assessment and development of risk controls and actions required for the successful delivery of projects.
  • Strong communication skills, harnessing a collaborative approach to the planning of complex infrastructure projects
  • Strong interface management and influencing skills
