About My Client


My client is a highly experienced, multidisciplinary engineering and management firm delivering engineering, procurement and construction management services for over 30 years.

As a result of growth, my client is looking for enthusiastic Senior Mechanical Engineers to join their teams in Adelaide (HQ), Perth, Brisbane, Sydney & Melbourne.

My client is seeking candidates with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience. You will have a range of technical and soft skills to perform the role, as listed below.


Applicants with lesser experience are expected to possess some of the skills and show strong potential to build on the others.

Australian recognised Mechanical Engineering degree that satisfies the entry requirements for Chartered membership with Engineers Australia.

Passion for quality engineering and client outcomesAttention to detail without losing sight of the bigger pictureTaking responsibility and ownership of tasks

Soft Skills

Strong CommunicatorTeam Player/ LeaderTime, Budget and Priority Management

Technical Competencies

Development of technical calculations from codes or first principalsProblem solving skillsTechnical report writingExperience with software packages (stress analysis, FEA etc.)In depth knowledge of relevant codes and standardsSpecification of Mechanical equipmentDetailed design and development of drawingsContributing to knowledge sharing, internal procedures and templates

Project Delivery Experience (highly regarded)

Cost Estimating and Proposal DevelopmentSafety in Design and Risk WorkshopsPackage EngineeringOperational SupportConstruction & commissioning

Industry Experience

Oil & Gas (upstream & downstream) and/orPipelines and/orMining, Minerals and Metals and/orHydrogen and/orDefence
