Join the team redefining how the world experiences design.
Hey, g'day, mabuhay, kia ora, 你好, hallo, vítejte Thanks for stopping by.

We know job hunting can be a little time consuming and you're probably keen to find out what's on offer, so we'll get straight to the point.

Where and how you can work Our flagship campus is in Sydney.
We also have a campus in Melbourne and co-working spaces in Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide.

But you have choice in where and how you work, we trust our Canvanauts to choose the balance that empowers them and their team to achieve their goals.

What you'd be doing in this role As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA.
But we like to think that's all part of the fun.

So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.

At the moment, this role is focused on: Providing technical leadership on high-impact projects: You will be a go-to expert for complex technical challenges within the Cloud Platform.

You will design, develop, and implement solutions that push the boundaries of what's possible in the cloud Shaping the future of

You have deep expertise in cloud platforms, with a strong understanding of distributed systems, containerization technologies (e.g., Kubernetes) as well as public cloud providers (AWS must, GCP nice-to-have) and broad infrastructure functions (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, automation, site reliability, security, etc) You have excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.

You have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.

You have a passion for staying current with the latest cloud technologies and trends You have a no-blame mentality, you lead by example and promote Canva and Engineering values About the team This role sits within Infrastructure's Cloud Platform Group.

We're constantly setting large and ambitious goals and thus, are looking for an experienced Engineering Lead to join our dynamic group and play a key role in delivering the right things at speed and scale.

Cloud Engineering at Canva is about reducing the complexity burden of using the Cloud and in this position, you'll be responsible for ensuring the impactful work done by various teams is cohesive and aligned in reaching the group's vision.

Apart from providing technical direction, you'll spend time influencing, leading by example and actively contributing to the engineering strategy.
You'll ensure we continue to offer secure and reliable products while managing debt and delivery tradeoffs.
All of this focused on delivering a delightful experience to our internal customers.
