Applicants Position Overview:

The IT Supervisor Sr will oversee the Business Analysis and Research ( BAR ) Data Team for Austin-Travis County EMS , currently a team of three (3) employees.

The person in this role will lead a team of data experts in transforming complex data sets into a clear presentable format for EMS in order to formulate strategies, identify trends, and action plans.

This position will supervise and oversee the data strategy and infrastructure activities to collect, process, model, and analysis to help stakeholders make informed decisions.

This is a highly visible position involving collaboration and coordination with ATCEMS stakeholders to supervise analytic projects with established deadlines.

This position will participate in business case and proposal development to ensure integration between the project effort and other functional areas related to information technology for ATCEMS.

Experience leading projects involving data warehousing, Power Bi, and Sharepoint development.

Experience supervising a diverse workgroup within an IT environment, to include problem-solving, staff selection and development, and experience guiding the culture of a work team.

Experience in IT project leadership, RFP \ RFI and contract management for IT hardware andsoftware procurement.
Strong communication skills with experience interacting with all levels of staff and technicalaptitudes on IT related project or issues.

Provides advanced technical leadership on integrating complex existing or new information system technologies Improves operations, decreases turnaround times, streamlines work processes, and works to provide quality customer service Lead the coordination and participation with other City departments, project teams and agencies Develops training programs, guides and trains staff on work procedures and operating instructions Develops and prepares management and productivity reports, studies and analyses Prepares operating budgets and reviews ongoing expenditures Develops short and long range goals and monitors performance results Prepares, reviews and approves documentation for procurement Ensures compliance with City of Austin personnel, security and department procedures Researches complex commercial products for possible use Responsibilities – Supervisor and/or
