PRACTICE MANAGER POSITION AVAILABLE

The Role:

An exciting new opportunity has opened up for an experienced Practice Manager with GP West Medical Group.

You will be responsible for:

  • Managing a team of Reception and Nursing staff
  • Managing relationships with key stakeholders including Doctors and Head Office
  • Ensure patients are provided with exemplary customer service
  • Ensure staff are supported and enjoy a positive working environment
  • Maintain accreditation
  • Reduce incidents
  • Timely corrective action of risks and hazards identified
  • Successful implementation of centre initiatives and promotions.
  • Staff rostering is within budget parameters
  • Ensure visitors and contractors follow safety rules and procedures
  • Provide informal coaching and feedback to staff as required and facilitate formal performance reviews
  • Provide staff with training and development required to do their role.
  • Other ad hoc administration as required.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within the medical field.

  • Be able to work in a team.
  • Best Practice Software experience beneficial.
  • Excellent computer abilities including Microsoft Office.
  • Exceptional phone manner.
  • Be able to multitask and prioritises all times.
  • Previous experience as a 2IC or Practice Manager preferred
