Lead Av Technician

Monet in Paris:

The French Impressionists Alive is seeking expressions of interest for Lead AV Technician & AV Technician for our event at Crown Entertainment Complex, Burswood WA 6100.

We are looking to fill a roster between Sunday 5th November - Wednesday 15th November 2023.

LEAD AV Technician

Required Skills:

• Ability to speak and understand English.
• Comprehensive (5 or more years) entertainment, theatre or events industry experience.
• A solid understanding of multioutput projection systems including, but not limited to:
• Media Servers.
• Mac and PCPlatforms.
• EDID and Signal Distribution Protocols.
• Managed and Unmanaged Networking Systems.
• Cable Wiring and Termination (CATx, XLR and Power etc.).
• Cable Management.
• Troubleshooting and AV fault finding.
• Projector anatomy and the ability to diagnose faults.
• Colour balancing and calibration of Projectors.
• Projector edge blending experience.
• Experience with Watchout is preferred, although other multioutput media systems such as Spyder, Touch Designer, Encore would be advantageous.
• Hold permits to operate elevated work platforms (e.g.scissorlifts).

AV Technician

Required Skills:

• Ability to speak and understand English.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in the installation and operation of Audio
• Visualequipment, computer equipment and associated hardware and components.
• Understanding of multioutput projection systems preferred.
• Troubleshooting and AV fault finding.
• Experience working in the entertainment, theatrical or events industry.
• Hold permits to operate elevated work platforms (e.g. scissor lifts).
