Job Description

Duration: 12 months, 3 days per week



Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic guidance and supervision for RWE projects in the Nordic region, covering study design, execution, and sharing of results
  • Collaborate with customers, regulatory bodies, and industry partners to create innovative RWE strategies aiding drug development, market entry, and post-marketing monitoring
  • Lead the formulation of study protocols, statistical analysis plans, and research methodologies to tackle intricate scientific queries
  • Perform advanced statistical analyses utilizing real-world data sources like healthcare claims databases, electronic health records, and patient registries
  • Guide and support junior and mid-level consultants, offering direction on study design, statistical analysis methods, and scientific writing
  • Act as an expert in RWE methodologies, compliance requirements, and industry best practices, both internally and externally
  • Contribute to impactful initiatives such as conference talks, research papers, and involvement in industry discussions


Requirements:
  • PhD in epidemiology, biostatistics, health economics, or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in RWE creation in pharmaceutical companies, consulting organizations, or academic research centers
  • Demonstrated proficiency in devising and executing observational studies, comparative effectiveness research, and pharmacoepidemiology research
  • Proficient in statistical analysis tools (e.g., R, SAS, STATA) and programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL)
  • Effective leadership and communication skills, with a background in overseeing diverse teams and client interactions
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities, capable of translating complex scientific ideas into actionable insights
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Nordic languages is a bonus
  • Proven history of published work in peer-reviewed journals and participation in scientific conferences
