About the roleThe chief of staff will work directly with the CEO and management team to help build the business as it scales internationally from day one.

The position will cover a broad set of responsibilities, intersect every department and be involved in growing an early stage international startup.

Your work will vary as we grow
:

anything from keeping our hiring on track, working with lawyers on contracts, creating board reports, coordinating board and team meetings, ensuring efficient work processes and keeping product development on track.

Processes

  • You will be responsible for many of Springboard's processes, including quarterly planning, internal communications, hiring, onboarding and how we work together.
People -Help scale the team internationally from day 1.

Help identify the type of people we need, screen for values and build Better hiring processes to ensure we build the best team.

Planning

  • You are responsible for quarterly strategic planning, priority setting and alignment. This includes running company offsites to realign the team on company priorities. The CoS will also help with board meeting decks, taking minutes for the CEO as well as highlevel planning for the business.
Internal comms

  • You will proactively develop and manage an approach to internal communications and advise the CEO on any specific communication gaps.

Financial support -managing budgeting process to ensure a healthy and predictable financial situation at least 6-12 months in the future.

Internal policies and practices

  • You will work with our legal team on all ongoing legal matters from employment contracts, insurances, contract negotiations, IP and trademarks.
Strategic Planning and Execution

  • Collaborate closely with the CEO and department heads to develop, refine, and implement strategic business plans. Facilitate crossdepartmental coordination to ensure alignment with overall company objectives, driving initiatives that contribute to longterm operational excellence.

nvestor Relations and Communication

  • Manage the preparation and distribution of regular investor updates to keep stakeholders informed and engaged. Play a pivotal role in crafting messages and presentations for investor meetings, ensuring financial data and strategic direction are clearly communicated and aligned with company growth objectives.
Keeping everything on track
:

dive into departmental reports, summarising the good, the bad, and the ugly, and keeping everyone accountable to their OKRs.

This means highlighting both successes and areas for improvement, to ensure we learn and grow from each experience.
Who You AreMinimum 3 years of full time professional experience.
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Strong analytical skills with a penchant for detailExceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building trust, driving consensus, and fostering collaboration across diverse teams.

Proven track record of taking initiative and operating autonomously while remaining highly collaborative and receptive to feedback.
Real enthusiasm for getting stuff done, no matter how abstract or mundane the task.
Methodical, loves spreadsheets, obsessive about order and anti-loose ends.

The expert on multiple projects simultaneously and the ability to shift constantly from working in the business to working on the business.

Exceptional Communication Skills.

Assertive and confident communicating with the CEO but equally being approachable and humble when communicating with the broader team and new hires.

Needs to be comfortable with excel modelling and able to work across google suite.
Integrity. A non-negotiable requirement of the role is treating confidential matters and private opinions as such.

Bonus:
Prior startup experience, particularly within the $1M - $10M ARR range.
