Childcare Bus Driver

We currently have a permanent Part time position available at Waterford West Education and Care Centre for an experienced Bus driver.


The driver will:

  • Pick up and drop off childcare children and students for before/after school care and vacation care.
  • Taking children to swimming lessons and back.
  • Taking children to excursions and back.
  • Drive bus for our sister centre in Edens Landing for similar tasks.
  • Covering other tasks similar to an educator occasionally.

What we are looking for:

  • Holds a valid Driver Licence open licence (to drive a Toyota Hiace van)
  • Cert III in Early Childhood Education and Care, or studying one, or willing to study
  • First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Working With Children Check
  • Criminal History Check Certificate
  • An experienced bus driver who has experience in an Early Childhood Setting (preferred, however not essential)
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills with a positive attitude and genuine interest in working with children

Job Types:

$ $35.00 per hour
