QPSC believes that every student has the right to an education and that every student can succeed.

Sometimes however, young people face barriers that prevent them from engaging in schooling such as childhood trauma, a mental health diagnosis or homelessness.

This college is dedicated to supporting young people who find it difficult to engage in a mainstream school because of these barriers.

QPSC has been built on the foundations of BELIEF, RESPECT, UNITY and STUDENT SUCCESS which are our college values.
QPSC is a specific purpose state senior secondary school, with high expectations for our students.

Our 12-month senior program is targeted to students in years 10 to 12 (minimum of 15 years) with curriculum focusing on literacy, numeracy, workplace skills and wellbeing.

Our teaching environment is respectful, trusting and calm and all staff have unconditional positive regard towards each other and the students.

Applicants with knowledge, training and experience in working with students from a diverse background, learning support and experience delivering VET, together with a demonstrated commitment to wellbeing, will be highly regarded.

Teaching staff will be upskilled in teaching the full range of curriculum delivered at the college however, applicants with a background in Maths/Numeracy, the Arts, PE, English/Literacy and Learning Support would be preferred.
