As we continue to grow and take on more balustrade and steel structural projects, we are looking for a talented Civil Engineering Draftsperson to join our dynamic team.

Position: Civil Engineering Draftsperson (Full Time Position)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Frequently visit construction sites to perform site measurements and inspections of existing buildings or steel structures.
  • Prepare cost estimations based on tender documents, specifications, and other relevant materials and negotiate with clients to secure contracts
  • Utilize AutoCAD, including 3D modelling, to produce approval drawings as per site measurements and the latest construction drawing packages.
  • Secure drawing approvals from architects and engineers, making necessary amendments as per their comments.
  • Prepare fabrication shop drawings and generate Bill of Materials (BOM).
  • Order materials, off-the-shelf components, and laser cutting items from regular suppliers.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification in a related engineering field.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD software including 3d Modelling.
  • 2-3 years of previous experience in the engineering balustrade or structural steel industry.
  • Strong attention to detail as required in construction drawings.
  • Excellent to moderate knowledge in Microsoft office package and project planning tool.
  • Working Hours will be 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (Monday to Friday)
  • Salary will be $75,000 to $85,000 per annum for right candidate.
