Responsibilities:

• Conduct and interpret assessments as required.
• Develop tailored therapy plans based on each child's specific needs and goals.
• Provide evidence-based interventions.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other Why Wait staff for a holistic and coordinated therapy approach.
• Monitor progress, evaluate outcomes, and adjust therapy plans as needed.
• Offer support and guidance to families, empowering them to engage in their child's communication development.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including progress notes and assessment reports.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Registration with Speech Pathology Australia.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, families, and the therapeutic team.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Flexibility to travel within a 50km radius.
• Working with Children check.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Willingness to use personal vehicle (KM reimbursement).
• Ability to purchase up to 4 weeks additional annual leave.
