Cyber Security Analyst for our esteemed Federal Government Client. This is a Jan. 2024 start for an initial 12 month contract
About the Role:
In this role you will be leading and conducting risk assessments of Client's internal systems and assessing risk from external connections
Major duties will be:
- Undertaking compliance activities in relation to cyber security standards.
- Developing IT security standards, policy, procedures, and controls for managing risks.
- Supporting the business by ensuring external stakeholders adequately address all relevant compliance standards such as the PSPF, ISM, Agency Risk Management Frameworks and incident management disciplines.
- Completing and investigating internalexternal information security risk, exceptions assessments.
- Documenting and reporting control failures and gaps to stakeholders.
Required skills and experience include but are not limited to:
- Experience with Australian Government governance concepts with a focus on ICT, policy/standards development, documentation of frameworks.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to mentor and provide expertise within a team environment and engage with internal/external stakeholders confidently.
Submission Requirements:
Initial term: 12 months
Clearance:
Australian Citizens with ability to obtain NV1 clearance
Submission deadline: 1/12/2023
