ABOUT THE POSITION

The Deputy Principal:

Faith and Mission (ELC-12) is a member of the College Leadership Team and as such, assists and supports the Principal in all aspects of College Leadership.

The position holds particular oversight of all faith and mission activities in the College.

It entails a ministry of chaplaincy to the students, as faith companion and nurturer, and builder of community life within the College.

The position is a crucial one for the College; it links the tradition of FCJ presence and Charism to the current and future needs of Catholic Education and furthers the work of fostering and developing the Catholic identity of the College in the context of FCJ education.


The Deputy Principal:

Faith and Mission (ELC-12), along with the Principal, encourages and advances the Catholic character and FCJ charism of the school.

They have specific responsibilities in relation to the development and implementation of programs related to the faith education of students, staff and members of the wider school community.
