The Team

Our Insurance & Health team is headed up by 31 industry leading principals across six states. Within the insurance space our award-winning team is known for producing high quality advice and delivering exceptional client service. The team handles claims across all major classes of insurance and acts for the biggest names in the insurance industry, both locally and overseas. The principals that head up this particular team are Rhett Kennedy and Jordan Farr.

The Role

An opportunity has arisen for a Solicitor/Associate to join our Professional Indemnity team in Brisbane. The position will involve providing coverage advice and defending a variety of claims brought against directors, officers and companies; and professionals across the legal, financial services, construction, property, and allied health industries. There will be an opportunity to work directly with most local and international participants in the financial lines market, and to be involved in a diverse range of litigated and non-litigated matters.

The Successful Candidate

We would love to hear from you if you have the following skills, experience and attributes:

  • 3+ years' PAE;
  • previous defendant insurance experience (preferably professional indemnity);
  • ability to build strong client relationships with a focus on client service;
  • effective communication skills; and
  • collaborative and pragmatic approach.
