About the Role

Primary purpose of this role is to identify opportunities for standardisation and improvement of the processes that enable BHP's Remote Maintenance roles (M1) within the Integrated Remote Operations Center (IROC). Improving the effectiveness and efficiency of remotely diagnosing equipment maintenance issues and condition assessment. This role will focus on business improvement activities.

Reporting to Superintendent Predictive Monitoring, your key responsibilities will include:

Systems & Processes:

  • Utilises and identifies opportunities to improve the reporting framework for the reporting of asset health data to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist with the development of automated reports dashboards to inform operations and functions of asset health performance.
  • Drives system changes to continuously improve maintenance practices.
  • Participates in UAT for newly implemented systems and documents reporting processes.

Data Analysis:

  • Monitoring and Review of mobile fleet Asset Health data including but not limited to oil samples results, on-board sensors data and 1 SAP history.
  • Ongoing monitoring of machine data flow required.

People / Leadership:

  • Demonstrate behaviours consistent with our Charter.
  • Establish effective key working relationships in all line, peer and associate role relationships.
  • Engage with senior leadership within the business to problem solve, troubleshoot and influence.
  • Assists with the development of fellow team members.

Finance:

  • Support cost improvement initiatives across the MECoE function.

About You

As a successful candidate you will possess the following:

  • Trade or Engineering qualification with demonstrated experience on mobile equipment maintenance.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mobile equipment is critical, while site experience will be advantageous.
  • Proficiency in 1SAP.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in condition-based mobile maintenance practices and prognostic.
  • A sound understanding in oil analysis is an advantage
  • The ability to identify business process improvement opportunities
  • Communicate technical points & logic effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, work well under pressure and capability to meet fixed deadlines.
  • Excellent engagement, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Developed capability in the use of APM, Power BI and BOBJ (Desirable).
  • Demonstrated experience in integrating data from multiple source systems when building reports and dashboards (Desirable).

Location

This role will be performed from our Centre of Excellence hub Brisbane, working Monday to Friday offering flexible conditions.

Occasional site travel is required in this role and supported by the latest technology to engage with our sites around the Australia and the globe.
