Who we are seeking:

**Our Aircraft Maintenance Organization (AMO) is accountable for delivering safe and efficient aircraft maintenance services** to Virgin Australia Regional Airlines (VARA). **We are currently offering a Full-Time position for an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer**, responsible for carrying out line and base maintenance tasks on F100, A320 & B737 aircraft, **under the supervision of a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME)**, to guarantee full compliance with regulatory and airworthiness standards.

Key duties:
  • Performing maintenance tasks under the supervision of a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME), ensuring adherence to regulatory and airworthiness standards
  • Executing operational responsibilities in different work environments **as stipulated in company policies and procedures**
  • Reporting any significant defects identified during maintenance tasks and tooling requirements to the LAME
  • Ensuring that all maintenance activities are conducted safely and in compliance with applicable manuals, company protocols, and regulations
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the work area
Desired qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience in **Aircraft Line Maintenance and/or Heavy Maintenance operations**
  • A certificate IV in Aeroskills or equivalent
  • Effective communication skills with team members at all levels
  • Proactive and diligent approach to aircraft maintenance, cleanliness, and safety practices
  • Ability to integrate effectively into a skilled and motivated team
  • Proficient aircraft maintenance hand skills
  • Availability to work on a **4 on 4 off shift pattern (2 days 2 nights)**
