Leading Government client in Sydney Parramatta is looking for a Test Analyst on a 16 months contract + possible extension.

Key Deliverables ;

  • Demonstrated hands on experience in creating Project Level functional and non functional test scripts.
  • Application of repeatable and sound testing techniques to conduct Gap Analysis and confirm solutions are fitforpurpose
  • Excellent communicator and work as an effective member of the Test team conducting all phases of testing activities across multiple projects.
  • Manage multiple testing events and projects concurrently.
  • Development of test plans and manual test scripts including test cases based on functional and nonfunctional requirements and communicating the test plan at management level to key stakeholders.
  • Developing and maintaining regression/nonfunctional and functional test suites and ensuring traceability of test cases back to requirements.
  • Work with Internal NSWPF Teams and vendor to ensure availability of testing interfaces and environments with correct data.
  • Verify IaaC (Functional/ Non-Functional) requirements are enforced in
    Cloud (Azure/AWS) environment.
  • Manage vendor's turnaround of defects and ensure timely delivery/retesting.
  • Ensure stakeholders satisfaction through understanding of business requirements, business processes and deliverables.
  • Execution of test scripts in the Unit, System and Integration test environments.
  • Maintain and add to the Test strategy and Test Plan documentation for various environments.
  • Liaise with the functional, technical, network and security team for Test Execution and defect resolution.
  • Undertake Defect Management by managing the retesting of defects through to correction and acceptance by the system owners, monitoring outstanding defects using Mercury Quality Centre (MQC).
  • All other tasks as directed by the Test Manager related to delivering / supporting the Program/Project;
  • Adhere to all NSWPF policies and guidelines including information security.

SKILLS & EXPERINECE

  • Demonstrated experience as a Test Analyst with skills with strong experience in
    End to End Testing in complex systems for large organizations;
  • Demonstrated experience in the design of Test scenarios, development of test Cases from Functional & Non-Functional Requirements and delivery of Business Fit for Purpose Tests.
  • Proven ability to use industry standard software testing tools (e

MQC, Quick Test Professional (QTP)etc.);

  • Excellent written and verbal communications with strong interpersonal and organizational skills;
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively within a team environment.
