NOTE:

Here's what your day-to-day will look like:
Manage/supervise residential landscaping projects from start to finish (residential)

Note:

Projects will range from $30k to $180k+ (paving, decking, stonework, fencing, etc.) so you'll be preparing ground levels, setting up sites, liaising with clients, operating machinery, working with our team of labourers & landscapers etc.

Lead, inspire, & motivate multiple crews (we aim to have 2-3 jobs on the go at all times)
Plan & organise daily tasks, ensuring efficient allocation of resources
Train staff on proper landscaping techniques, equipment operation, & safety procedures
Enforce safety protocols & procedures to maintain a safe working environment
Maintain accurate records of work hours, materials used, & project expenses
Foster a positive working environment & facilitate effective internal communication
Act as the primary liaison between clients, contractors, & internal teams
Ensure high quality finishes within budget & timeline allocations

The ideal applicant has:
Minimum 5 years' experience in similar role of landscape/construction project management or site supervising including industry best practices, problem-solving skills, & knowledge of OH&S practises
Certificate III Landscape Construction is highly regarded
Current Queensland driver's license (manual) & White Construction Card
Ability to manage multiple sites at once & under pressure
Strong leadership skills & experience motivating/engaging/coaching a team effectively
Proficiency in cost reporting & budget management
In-depth knowledge of landscaping techniques, equipment, & materials.
Positive 'can do' attitude, strong work ethic, & a collaborative team spirit
The ability to identify possible issues before they arise, & provide solutions
Ability to manage subcontractors, suppliers, staff, & mentor junior staff
Apply a continuous improvement approach to identify & improve operating processes and ensure quality & efficiency in operations.
Strong attention to detail
Passionate about the industry
