Abergeldie is an Australian owned contractor with over 30 years' industry experience in Australia and New Zealand. We specialize in delivering projects within the Water, Bridges, Transport, Underground, Energy, and Remediation sectors.

We are currently in search of a skilled Contracts Manager to join the West Region Delivery Team (WRDT), which consists of Abergeldie Complex Infrastructure, Fulton Hogan, Programmed, Stantec, and Atlas. This team is responsible for providing design, construction, maintenance, and facility management services for the next decade across various Sydney Water systems.

About the Opportunity

We are looking for a talented Contracts Manager to contribute to our team's growth. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the financial, contractual, and operational success of multiple projects. Collaborating with our commercial and project teams, you will offer comprehensive support in commercial and contract management to align with program objectives and strategies.

This position will be based in our new operations center located at Sydney Olympic Park.

What you'll bring to the team

  • You should possess expertise as a Contracts Manager with relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Law, Quantity Surveying, or related fields.
  • Your extensive background in handling large-scale water infrastructure projects, including treatment plants and pipelines, is essential.
  • Experience in managing complex contracts for major infrastructure projects, coupled with strong negotiation skills, will be crucial for success in this role.
  • A leadership mindset with a focus on team development and mentorship is key.
  • Prior experience with NEC 4 will be highly valued.
