The Role:

Applications are open for PACS IT officers to join the team at Northern Health in the Northern Imaging Victoria department. A full-time position is currently available. This role involves providing support to the PACS and Radiology team, managing image verification, transmission, and incorporation into patient files in the RIS/PACS.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Minimum of a certificate or diploma in Healthcare Management, Health Information Systems, Information Technology, or relevant practical experience
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office and intermediate MS Excel skills
  • Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Computer literacy including RIS-PACS experience and understanding
  • Openness to learning, growth, and change
