THE OPPORTUNITY


TAFE NSW is looking for a qualified, experienced and enthusiastic individual to support Head Teachers and their delivery team with all administrative activities essential to the effective delivery of teaching and learning on a day-to-day basis.

This is a permanent full-time position based at Granville campus within the Technology and Business Services team.

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Provide efficient and effective administrative support services to support the management of daily teaching and learning operations and smooth running of activities
  • Support the Head Teachers to ensure day to day operational activities meet the Skills Team plans, expectations and deadline
  • Provide student support and respond to and resolve enquiries and issues to ensure the provision of accurate information, timely and effective customer support and problem resolution
  • Collaborate with corporate services to support the Skills Team with daytoday teaching and learning operations

ABOUT YOU


To succeed in this role, you will be customer-focused with demonstrated experience in the provision of high-quality administrative support and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced and complex environment.

You will have strong attention to detail and able to work flexibly while maintaining a collaborative approach with team members and stakeholders.


  • Certificate III in a relevant field or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience
  • Demonstrated experience in the provision of highquality administrative support and the ability to work with a range of complex administrative and corporate systems
  • Demonstrated experience in developing systems and processes to support efficient operations
  • The ability to meet the focus capabilities outlined in the position description
