Susquehanna International Group (SIG) is seeking a talented Production Engineer to join their team. This role offers the exciting opportunity to collaborate closely with traders and top technologists in Sydney and the US. As a Production Engineer, you will be involved in designing and developing innovative tools to enhance market data infrastructure solutions. Your responsibilities will include implementing automation, effective monitoring, and infrastructure-as-code.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of supporting projects that deliver new services and solutions for the market data team. Working alongside Market Data Software Developer teams in Sydney and the US, you will contribute to enhancing in-house applications and collaborating with other Enterprise technology teams to ensure top-notch service quality. Additionally, you will play a key role in coordinating resources during production issues, maintaining market data infrastructure platforms, and diagnosing problems within various market data products at SIG.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in application support, operations, or systems administration
  • Familiarity with Linux operating systems
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
  • Preference for Python, Bash, or other scripting experience
  • Technical background (e.g., Computer Science, Computer Engineering) desired
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience required
  • Knowledge of UDP & TCP protocols and Layer 1 networking beneficial
