1300SMILES Carindale is currently seeking a committed and enthusiastic Dental Assistant/Receptionist to become an essential part of our team on a casual basis (3 days per week).

In our practice, prioritising patient care is paramount. We take pride in creating a welcoming and relaxing environment, dedicated to delivering exceptional service with warmth and professionalism.

The Opportunity
As a Dental Assistant/Receptionist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing treatment rooms and sterilising dental instruments.
  • Providing chairside assistance to dentists and hygienists, including instrument handling, Xray assistance, and ensuring patient comfort.
  • Managing patient records and updating electronic medical files.
  • Welcoming and registering patients, scheduling appointments, and handling phone inquiries.
  • Coordinating patient flow in the reception area.
  • Assisting with billing and processing insurance claims.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service and addressing patient questions and concerns.

Ideally, you will possess:

  • Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional organisational and multitasking capabilities.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and dental software.
  • A commitment to upholding patient confidentiality and privacy.
