Korvest Ltd is the parent company of Korvest Galvanising and EzyStrut. Korvest Galvanising processes structural steel & components for both internal and external customers. EzyStrut is the market leader in cable and pipe support systems throughout Australia.

Scope of the Role:


We are seeking a driven, enthusiastic, and experienced Engineering Technician to join our team of Engineers responsible for both sales and manufacturing support.

This position will assist in the design and testing of new products along with the design and construction of new machinery.


The role offers a variety of duties including:

  • Assist in the design of new products, with a shortterm focus on R&D testing.
  • Improvement to existing and the development of new production machines.
  • Investigation and resolving of mechanical issues both in the design and product implementation phases.
  • Undertake project management roles liaising with customers both internally and externally.
  • Assist the national sales team in answering product related questions.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 years working within the manufacturing industry.
  • Trade qualification or equivalent experience (e.g. fitter/turner, boilermaker, etc.)
  • Indepth knowledge of mechanical systems.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with an eye for detail
Experience in project management, CAD (e.g. SolidWorks), and involvement with automation systems while not essential, will be highly regarded.
