As an Early Childhood Educator, you'll be an integral part of our dedicated team, committed to providing a high-quality Kindergarten program in accordance with the National Quality Framework (NQF).


Position Objective:


Collaborate with fellow Educators to deliver an enriching Kindergarten program that meets individual and group needs, aligning with the National Quality Framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain a highquality program in accordance with NQF, National Law, Regulations, and approved Early Learning Frameworks.
  • Create a warm, inclusive environment, fostering positive partnerships with families.
  • Support the participation of all children, including those with additional needs.
  • Work in partnership with families, encouraging their involvement in the kindergarten community.
  • Engage in professional development to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Assist in centre administration requirements and maintain hygiene standards.

Judgement and Decision Making:

  • Monitor and evaluate the kindergarten environment for safety and wellbeing.
  • Support individual progress and development, providing information and support to parents.

Specialist Skills and Knowledge:

  • Understanding of NQF, National Law, Regulations, and Quality Standards.
  • Management skills to prioritise, plan, and organise work efficiently.
  • Interpersonal skills to foster positive communication with team members and the community.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Diploma in Children's Services or minimum Certificate 3 with relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of legislative requirements, developmental frameworks, and NQF.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement highquality early years educational programs.
  • Working with Children's Check and current ACECQA approved First Aid, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Management Certificates.
  • Current Driver's License (desirable).

Other Relevant Information:

  • Availability to work Saturdays if required.

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Diploma or Certificate 3 in Children's Services.
  • Sound knowledge of NQF, National Law, Regulations, and approved Early Learning Frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to assist in delivering highquality early years educational programs.
  • Working with Children Check and current ACECQA approved First Aid, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Management Certificates.
