About the Role

Reporting to Manager Proprietary Distribution Support, the Proprietary Distribution Support Consultant role ensures that the Retail Branch Network, ME Proprietary channel and the wider Retail Distribution teams are provided timely and accurate support and advice on, daily operations, navigating and understanding policy and procedures, reporting and insights to deliver on Retail Strategy.

Providing technical support, as well as updating or producing reporting and carrying out other administrative duties to support these departments.

Working closely with Manager Network and Proprietary Operations, helps drive effective performance across the business through teamwork and living BOQ's purpose and Values.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Procedure and /or Document reviews to ensure procedures are accurate and uptodate and within BOQ's recommended compliance frameworks.
  • Network & Proprietary Leadership team support, including travel bookings, expense coding, organising events and other adhoc support required to ensure Retail leadership team is set up for success.
  • Leading the exception process for Retail and proactively identifying opportunities for process enhancements.
  • Operational Support to Network & Proprietary, support and advice to the branch network to ensure they are successfully set up to meet their Blueprint expectations and deliver a great customer experience.
  • Exemplify the BOQ Group values of Spirited, Optimistic, Curious, Inclusive, Accountable and Lionhearted to contribute to the purpose of Building Social Capital through Banking.

About you

  • Understanding of Retail Branch Network systems and processes I.e. MyClient, CEP, SupportPoint
  • Understanding of Franchise Operations
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Problemsolving skills
  • Good prioritisation skills to ensure stakeholder expectations are met
