Your New Role

The Strategy & Corporate Affairs (S&CA) Domain is responsible for safeguarding and enhancing the Fund's reputation, as well as developing and pursuing strategies to innovate the Fund and the surrounding system. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Corporate Strategy, this position aims to:

  • Lead the creation of business/functional level strategies and essential strategic initiatives
  • Perform critical strategic analysis and provide insights for executive decision-making
  • Take a leading role in strategizing and executing organic and inorganic growth, including fostering innovation to boost growth and adoption of fresh ideas
  • Assist in activities related to shaping the Fund's strategy, business planning, and assessing opportunities to meet the Fund's long-term strategic goals
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Assist in developing, reviewing, and updating the Fund's long-term strategy.
  • Lead the formulation of the fund-wide data strategy.
  • Drive the development and coordination of strategy at business unit and functional levels.
  • Execute key tasks to ensure coordination and alignment of various strategies throughout the Fund.
  • Support in preparing submissions for the Executive Committee and Board.
  • Act as a reliable advisor to business units in executing and aligning strategic initiatives and solutions.
  • Create evaluation and execution frameworks and processes.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify new opportunities for the Fund, keeping abreast of market trends and activities.
  • Provide analysis of global and cross-industry trends, along with global benchmarking.
  • Assist in generating quantitative and qualitative market intelligence, benchmarking, competitive landscape analysis, modeling, and scenario building.
  • Monitor and interpret Fund performance to pinpoint implications and generate insights influencing management decision-making.
  • Explore significant industry shifts and identify tactical and strategic consequences.
What You'll Need
  • Demonstrated expertise in top-tier management consulting or an in-house strategy position. Experience in financial services is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proven experience in strategy development.
  • Excellent analytical skills and structured problem-solving capabilities.
  • Aptitude for analyzing extensive datasets and deriving strategic, actionable insights.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas, perspectives, and concerns.
  • Effective stakeholder management and communication abilities.
  • Capacity to collaborate and work collegially.
  • Experience in transformation and organizational design is advantageous.
