The Role


Due to internal movements at Epworth, we have a Fixed Term Full Time Prosthesis Coordinator role available based in Geelong.

In this role, you will be working within Epworth Healthcare's Prosthesis Supply Team and will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of services related to receipt, holding and dispatch of prosthesis materials securly and accurately to meet the operational demands of the business.

This role is accountable for inventory integrity and visibility, ensuring that controls (stocktakes and cycle counts) are in place and effective.


You will make an impact by:
Ensuring the safe, timely and efficient supply of prosthesis to operational and theatre staff
Working closely with Patient Revenue Team to ensure accurate invoicing of prosthesis items to health funds
Maintaining accurate documentation of items used in surgery
Establishing robust processes and controls to minimise revenue leakage and stock loss
Developing strong relationships with key stakeholders (theatre staff and doctors)

To be successful in this role

You will have:

Demonstrated experience, ideally 2+ years working in a healthcare environment (desirable)
Experience working with Prosthesis is highly desirable, but not essential
Strong understanding of medical terminology
Proven ability to work within a team environment and to meet deadlines
Working knowledge and experience with a large ERP system (e.g. TechOne)
