School and Region Reviews (SRR) supports continuous improvement in Queensland state schools and education centres by providing leadership and oversight for the program of schools, regions and a range of emerging systems and place-based reviews.


Your Opportunity:

  • Work in a small, dynamic team of editors to proof read and edit school review reports from reviews conducted across a range of state schools throughout Queensland within set timeframes and also regional review reports and school selfassessments.
  • Use your experience and understanding of best practice teaching and learning within schools to shape these reports to ensure they are clear and concise.

About the Role:

As the Principal Editor your duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Ensure high quality school and regional review reports are delivered within required timeframes.
  • Lead the quality assurance and publication processes for review reports.
  • Work collaboratively with the reports team and stakeholders to provide feedback and advice regarding report writing.
  • Support and coach internal reviewers in the crafting of school review reports.

About You:

  • Time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks according to timeframes.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to provide and receive feedback effectively to enhance team outcomes.
  • A great team player who is flexible and able to thrive in a small team.
