The Strategic Advisory Services (SAS) group within PDNSW is seeking to appoint a
Manager, Land iQ Data and Analytics to lead data management and analytics activities for the NSW Government for Land iQ to ensure information remains current, reliable and relevant for the users as the tool grows following recent significant funding approvals from the NSW Government and Commonwealth Government.


Land iQ is a world-first land-use technology platform developed by the NSW Government in partnership with WSP Australia, Giraffe and Aerometrex.


About You

  • Experience in managing large spatial and nonspatial data sets
  • Experience in managing relationships with multiple suppliers to access, transfer, and query data sets
  • Experience in the development and implementation of cyber security strategies
  • Exceptional communication skills and experience in providing customer support through the provision of technical advice in a clear, plainEnglish manner
  • Highlevel organisational and coordination skills and problem solving skills, including the ability to plan and prioritise work with mínimal supervision
  • Technical literacy and experience in using a range of digital tools and systems including Microsoft Office as well as planning or propertybased systems (e.g. ESRI suite, SIXMaps, Giraffe)

Essential Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or experience in data management, GIS software, systems administration and/or data science
  • Qualifications and experience in the property and/or planning sectors is highly regarded
