Our Curtis Island LNG Project has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Supervisor - EI to join our Projects Leadership Team. As a key member of the Projects Team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and expertise to a multi-discipline team overseeing Electrical & Instrumentation Maintenance scopes to ensure safe and efficient execution of field-based work.
The primary functions of this role will include the following
· Ensure safety is first and foremost in planning, execution and close out of the Shutdown
· Establish, maintain and continuously improve the planning and job package
· Provide high quality, concise job packs with associated method statements, work instructions and documentation for work scopes
· Validate and report overall planning and job package deliverables progress
· Liaise and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders
In addition, the following key accountabilities will form part of this role
· Review and validate all Electrical / Instrument job package activities and deliverables
· Work with Engineers and Specialists to ensure scope, ITP', technical queries and material requirements are clear and concise
· Liaise with Logistics to ensure materials meet the scheduled delivery dates
· Provide scope estimates for execution activities
· Develop detailed SAP work orders, operation steps, materials and drawings
· Develop and submit SAP Permits / JHA requirements for each scope
· Develop high quality job packs, provide status updates and maintain up to date job pack tracking
· Participate in schedule optimisation and SIMOP sessions
· Effectively communicate with Supervisors and other shutdown team members
· Lead delivery of scope execution by providing schedule updates, communicate priorities and job pack closeout
Qualifications and Education Requirements
· LNG or related industry shutdown experience
· Instrumentation / Electrical Trade Certificate (Inlec)
· Technical Diploma / Trade Certificate preferred – electrical / instrumentation
· 5 years' experience in shutdown and / or maintenance planning, project management systems, with additional skills in word processing, spreadsheet applications
· A thorough understanding of Shutdown planning and execution activities
· Experienced in the use of process flow diagrams, Piping & Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID), schematics, piping drawings, fabrication drawings, isometrics, equipment datasheets, sketches, charts
· Relevant experience of process instrumentation including pressure; temperature; flow and level controls; monitoring systems; analysers (Gas Chromatographs, moisture etc.) where used in non-custody transfers; SIS systems (specifically instrumented protective functions); PLC hardware and software.
Desirable/Preferred Skills
· Minimum 5 years' experience in a major Oil and Gas facility within Operations/Maintenance/Projects
· Industry related certificates or qualifications, current electrical license
· Understanding and Knowledge of HV Isolation and Switching, Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas (EEHA)
· Good working knowledge of electrical equipment including, but not limited to, transformers, motors, Variable Frequency Drives (VFD)'s, protection relays, load shedding, and earth ground systems
· Sound comprehensive base knowledge in the Instrumentation discipline with a strong knowledge base of turbine, anti-surge controls, flow & temperature transmitters/meters fire & gas panels, vibration switches/transducers
· Proficiency in the use of SAP, Microsoft Office suite, and document management systems
