What's the role?:

We are currently looking for a Credit Controller to join our supportive credit and collections team.


You'll be responsible for maintaining customer accounts, reconciling payments, collecting overdue amounts and releasing credit holds by following up accounts to minimise Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).


This is a great opportunity for someone that thrives in a fast-paced environment managing a high volume of customer interaction a day and has good stakeholder management.

What does the role involve?:

  • Follow up of overdue accounts to minimise Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and amount invested in outstanding Accounts Receivable
  • Investigate all accounts where "Credit check failure hold" applies and release of credit orders on hold
  • Follow up telephone calls to customers with overdue accounts in line with credit guidelines
  • Record all collection calls and correspondence using SAP
  • Prompt and accurate handling of all types of customer inquiries

What you need is:

  • Experience in an accounts receivable / credit control / customer service role
  • Open to graduates with a BSc Commerce / Finance or equivalent
  • Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
  • IT literacy, Microsoft office, SAP knowledge is a plus
  • Willingness to learn, passionate and driven
  • A real team player with an eye for detail
