Netball Coordinator

About the Role:

The Netball Coordinator ensures smooth operation, promotion, and continuity of the Netball program by working closely with and communicating with the Head of Department HPE, Sport & GSA, the Coordinator of Junior Years Sports and other coaches as appropriate.

You will be a key link in ensuring that Glennie students have an opportunity to participate in an extra-curricular session for their level of development as well as representative commitments.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the operations, supervision, and administration of the Netball program as per the School's term roster;
• Ensure teams are on the court at the appropriate time
• Ensure umpire allocations are adhered to and rearrange umpiring roster when applicable;
• Assist coaches;
• Injury management and appropriate followup.

This role is 20 hours per week. You must be available mornings, Wednesday evenings, and Weekends.

A current first aid qualification and Sport or Coaching related qualification, Level 1 minimum, and proven record of providing a high standard of coaching and training program design will be highly regarded.

Experience in coaching students of all school-age is highly desirable.

The successful applicant must be supportive and sympathetic to the ethos of Anglican Schools and must hold a current paid Working with Children "Blue Card" or "Exemption Card", as appropriate, prior to your commencement date.
