You will lead and support a team of Planners, Schedulers and Cost Controllers to ensure efficient distribution of drill planning and budgeting across the Resource Definition group with a focus on successful target delivery.

Key Responsibilities Safe and effective leadership of a multi-disciplined team including the coaching, mentoring and development of all Provide visible positive leadership by demonstrating safe behaviours at all times and displaying the Fortescue values Management of stakeholder expectations including the communication of delivery status and risks whilst providing visibility to Senior Executives and escalating appropriate issues as necessary Streamline the drill planning and budgeting process, including the implementation of new processes and systems Provide guidance to assist in developing reports for drill planning and budget compliance and ensure the delivery of services meets business expectations Conduct schedule risk analysis Qualifications and Experience Proven experience in a leadership role within the drilling, mining or metals industry alongside a passion for coaching and people development The ability to engage and empower teams with a proven commitment to safety Tertiary qualification in Geology, Engineering, Commerce or equivalent (essential) with a qualification in Project Management highly desirable A clear understanding of planning and scheduling concepts, costing methodologies and budget control, alongside proven analytical skills and the ability to actively seek to understand technical context Strongly developed communication skills with a focus on customer service and the ability to engage with end users at all levels of the organisation Demonstrated knowledge of MS Excel and experience working with Primavera P6 or Alastri highly desirable Our Commitment Fortescue is deeply committed to providing a safe culture that builds respect, fosters inclusiveness, and values diversity.
